I remember one time I wanted to borrow money from a stranger.

After going downstairs, I saw a tall man sitting behind a desk. He looked like a safety guard. I walked towards him and I was very nervous.

I asked if he could lend me 100 yuan. He said no and asked why. I just said sorry and I quickly went away. It was so embarrassed.

2、It was so embarrassed. 不对,是It was so embarrassing.或者 I was so embarrassed.

I remember an experience where I once asked a stranger for some money.

I came downstairs and I saw this big guy sitting behind a desk. He looked like a security guard. I just approached him.

approach /əˈproʊtʃ/v.

And I was just walking and that was the longest walk of my life.

I could feel the hair on the back of my neck standing up. My palms were sweaty. My heart was pounding.

I went up to him and I said, "Sir, can I borrow 100 dollars from you?" He looked up. He was like, "No. Why?" And I said, "No? Oh, I'm sorry." And I just turned around and I ran away. I was so embarrassed.
