I think there are three kinds of happy life.

The first is happy life. People enjoy doing things that make them happy.

The second is busy life. People put their hearts into their work and love. They work very hard.

The third kind is a meaningful life. People help others or even the society.

We often think those who pursue happiness are the happiest. But studies show that people seeking meaning are most satisfied with life.

When we have happiness, meaning and joy, our lives are more complete.

In my view, there are indeed three types of happy lives.

The first one is a life filled with simple joys. People in this kind of life focus on doing things that bring them pleasure, like having picnics with friends or reading a good book.

The second is a life full of dedication. Those leading such a life are deeply engaged in their work and relationships. They work hard to achieve their goals at work and cherish their loved ones with all their hearts.

dedication /ˌdedɪˈkeɪʃn/n.

The third is a life of significance. People in this life make use of their own strengths to serve something greater. For example, some use their intelligence to help solve community problems, while others with good communication skills volunteer to comfort the lonely.

significance /sɪɡˈnɪfɪkəns/n.

Many of us assume that those chasing after happiness are the happiest.

However, studies reveal that those seeking meaning actually feel the most content with their lives.

In conclusion, when we combine these elements - happiness, dedication, and meaning - our lives become truly fulfilling and complete. It's like a puzzle where each piece matters to form a beautiful picture.

I think a happy life can be simply divided into three categories.
category /ˈkætəɡəri/ n.
The first happy life is the pleasant life. This is a life in which you have as much positive emotion as you possibly can, and the skills to amplify it.
pleasant /ˈpleznt/ adj.
The second is a life of engagement: a life in your work, your parenting, your love, your leisure; time stops for you.
engagement /ɪnˈɡeɪdʒmənt/ n.
And third, the meaningful life. This is the most venerable of the happinesses, traditionally. And meaning, in this view, consists of -- very parallel to eudaemonia -- it consists of knowing what your highest strengths are, and using them to belong to and in the service of something larger than you are.
venerable /ˈvenərəbl/ adj.
We always tend to think that those who lead the first kind of life are living the happiest life.
And our results surprised us; they were backward of what we thought. It turns out the pursuit of pleasure has almost no contribution to life satisfaction. The pursuit of meaning is the strongest. The pursuit of engagement is also very strong.
backward /ˈbækwəd/ adj. Where pleasure matters is if you have both engagement and you have meaning, then pleasure's the whipped cream and the cherry. Which is to say, the full life -- the sum is greater than the parts, if you've got all three. Conversely, if you have none of the three, the empty life, the sum is less than the parts.
whipped /wɪpt/ adj.
